Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is an Mexican American sportscaster. She is employed by ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor for news. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual woman and has been for a long time, starting at the age of nine. This skill has helped her get her first job at Univision, Miami. She was able to work as a producer for national programs like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, she relocated from Texas in the Rio Grande Valley where she began her news reporting for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Covering stories related to the trafficking of drugs and immigration across the border of Mexico and Texas. Border, she worked as an anchor on the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5 pm, as a reporter for news with a news anchor in English at 9 pm and after which she became a news anchor until 10pm before returning back to channel Spanish channel. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. She has a sister. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and relocated to Miami. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away of kidney carcinoma in the year 2006. It was on a summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered a job. Antonietta, a high-school senior having a clear idea of where she wanted her future to look like, traveled to Mount Union University in order to find out if the school suited her. As it turned out she loved the school and that they had the major she was looking for. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the college. Mark Bergmann was her professor and also the head of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a part. They developed a close friendship. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
